New crafting system

From what I remember the new crafting system was to be added along with the Episode two patch. Supposing the information I obtained was not incorrect, (to all those interested in crafting out there) does anyone know what new changes were made/added? (I been trying to look for information online and only come up with the old crafting tables.)

Also, does anyone know whether, crafting is useful or not with the current direction that Last Chaos is heading? (btw, I'm only lvl 33 with maxed collection skills)
